Prepare new material for inclusion in the Arabic language UN web site. Review existing pages at the top levels to ensure that changeable data is kept up-to-date.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Training in website design and development, Javascript in Arabic, and JSP or ASP programming required.
Experience:
Several years of experience in website publishing, editing, maintenance or related field. Experience in handling bi-directional web-based documents in Arabic required.
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, fluency in oral and written Arabic, normally expected to be the candidate's primary language, is required.
Others:
Working knowledge of Style Sheets and SHTML highly desirable. Ability to work with Flash desirable. Excellent working knowledge of web authoring and design tools such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks or other authoring tools
