Responsabilities:
Assists Inspectors to examine allegations and conduct investigations of alleged violations of rules, regulations and established procedures, mismanagement, misconduct, waste of resources, misappropriation, abuse of authority and other wrongful activit
Competencies:
Professionalism: Understanding of the objectives, structure and methods of the United Nations system organizations. Knowledge of concepts and approaches relevant to investigation. Good analytical and problem solving skills.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced University degree in law, public or business administration. A combination of relevant academic qualifications and extensive experience may be acceptable in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
A minimum of five years of relevant experience in investigatory work, including gathering evidence and interviewing suspects and witnesses, in a law enforcement or investigation agency
Languages:
Fluency in oral English and French as well as excellent drafting skills in English is required. Knowledge of other official UN languages is an advantage.
Others:
Good understanding of the UN system and its investigative and disciplinary process is desirable. Experience in the use of various research methodologies, including relevant software and other applications, and sources relevant to investigations required.
