Responsabilities:
Manage the implementation of IPSAS in UNOG; plan, integrate, coordinate and direct UNOG IPSAS preparatory works with UN IPSAS project team
Competencies:
Proven conceptual analytical and evaluative skills, and ability to conduct independent research and analysis; identifies issues, formulates options and make conclusions and recommendations;

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree in Accounting or Finance. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent desirable.
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in Accounting and Finance at the international level. At least seven years of experience with UN accounting system and financial operations.
Languages:
Fluency in English and/or French and a good working knowledge of the other required.
Others:
Very good IT and computer skills, with extensive knowledge and experience of complex computerized accounting systems such as IMIS.
