Responsabilities:
The Senior Environment Specialist will be responsible for IEGSE’s evaluation of Bank projects and programs in environment, natural resource management, and depending on profile also energy.

Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically and draw operationally relevant lessons from evaluations.

Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate degree in environmental or engineering sciences, resource economics, public policy or related discipline
Experience:
at least 8 years of relevant professional experience outside or inside the Bank, including experience leading analytical work, projects and policy dialogue in the environment/resource management fields in multiple settings.
Languages:
Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is desirable.
Others:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with colleagues inside and outside IEG. Ability to work effectively in teams, whether as leader or team member.
