Manages projects involving feasibility studies, systems analysis, design, development and implementation of new, moderately complex systems, and/or, participates as a member of a development team with responsibility for major components.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or related field.
Experience:
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of computer information systems or related area.
Languages:
Fluency in one of the working languages of the UN Secretariat, English or French, (both oral and written) is required; knowledge of the other is desirable. Knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.
Others:
Proficiency in tools necessary to maintain the United Nations' current ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system IMIS (Integrated Management and Information System) is required. These tools include Java, JavaScript, Jboss, Sybase, Perl and Eclipse.
