Responsabilities:
The incumbent plans, organizes and conducts investigations of alleged misconduct, malfeasance, mismanagement, fraud, corruption, waste of resources, or violations of the organization's regulations and rules and administrative instructions.
Competencies:
Professionalism: A knowledge and understanding of the theories, concepts and approaches relevant to criminal investigations, etc.; practical experience in criminal investigation management and administration

Qualifications:
Education:
An advanced University Degree (Master’s Degree or equivalent), preferably in law or related area.
Experience:
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in investigatory work in law enforcement, government, national or international investigation agency, with experience in criminal and/or administrative investigations.
Languages:
English and French are the official working languages of the Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is a requirement. Working knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable.
Others:
An awareness of software applications used in criminal and administrative investigations and the ability to gather and analyze electronic evidence are an asset.
